Drop Two

Just a few days into Spring, we are excited to present our second group product drop of 2019.  Drop Two picks up where our first drop left off, with a focus on seasonality and an exploration into both traditional and technical processes. Lightweight materials are found throughout the collection, highlighted specifically by a Dyneema bonded leather named Hyperlapse which is available in four custom colours across our Sneaker, Slip On and Deck Shoe styles. These athletic models pay tribute to the outdoor focused lifestyle of Vancouver Island and the Pacific Northwest in general. In contrast, our Welted and Stitchdown offerings this season are produced entirely from vegetable tanned leathers sourced from small scale producers in Italy and Japan.  The Waxed Deer, Used Horsehide and matte Calfskins are a diverse representation of the unique artisanal finishing methods that Italian tanneries have seemingly mastered. Finally, the Oiled Natural Horsebutt is a signature product from Japan’s much revered Shinki tannery.
